Education: MSC in Aquaculture from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), as well as supplementary management education from Harvard Business School.
Experience: Mr. Aarskog has broad experience from the salmon farming industry. Prior to his position in Marine Harvest ASA, he was the CEO of the Lerøy Seafood Group ASA. Previous positions include Executive Vice President of the Lerøy Seafood Group, Managing Director of Lerøy Midnor AS and Head of Production in Fjord Seafood ASA, a company later merged with Marine Harvest ASA.

Experience: Farstad was Managing Director of Fjord Seafood Norway up until the merger with Pan Fish. His background includes Director Strategy and Business Development at Fjord Seafood, Associate at McKinsey & Co., and Project Engineer at Aker Maritime. Before entering the position as Operations Director in Marine Harvest 1 February 2008, Farstad held the position as Director Strategy and Business Development.

Jørgen K. Andersen (1952), CFO
Nationality: Norwegian
Education: Master degree in Business and a postgraduate degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Postgraduate studies from IMD (Switzerland) and London Business School.
Experience: Jørgen K. Andersen comes from the position as CFO Oil & Energy in Norsk Hydro. In 2003 Andersen was responsible for the separation and listing of Norsk Hydro’s fertilizer operations, now Yara ASA. He started in Hydro in 1986 and was responsible for a number of international projects related to acquisitions and restructuring throughout the Hydro group; in this period he established and headed Hydro’s global tax department. From 1981-1985 Andersen was working for the Ministry of Oil and Energy.

David Carnes (1961), Director Corporate Development

Education: MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland (2002) and an LLM in International Business Law from the University of Exeter, UK (1991).
Experience: Carnes comes from the position as Senior Supply Executive in Aker Solutions ASA, where he was responsible for supply management across the company. He has previously worked with supply and logistics in Norske Skog ASA, and also has broad experience from procurement, legal and corporate positions in Norsk Hydro ASA.

Marit Solberg (1956), Managing Director Norway

Education: MSc. in Microbiology from University of Bergen
Experience: Solberg held the position as Managing Director of Marine Harvest in Norway. She has long experience in the aquaculture industry and was Regional Director for Marine Harvest Norway for several years and previously held senior management positions in Hydro Seafood as well as MOWI AS. Since 2002 Solberg has managed the extensive and highly successful turnaround of the Marine Harvest operations in Norway. She has a wide background in technical and production areas as well as merger and change management experience.

Alvaro Jimenez Seminario (1963), Managing Director Chile
Nationality: Chilean
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Chile.
Experience: Previously Director of Value Added Smoked in Marine Harvest Chile. Jimenez started in the seafood industry in 1988 as manager of Salmones Cai Caen. In 1995 he started the company Delifish in Santiago, a company focused on value added products. He came into what is now Marine Harvest in 2006 through the acquisition of Delifish.

Jo Dekeyzer (1967), Managing Director VAP

Education: Master degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. (also qualified in process analysis and supply chain management)
Experience: Dekeyzer held the position as Managing Director for Fjord Seafood Europe. He brings great experience in Operations management, processing and market knowledge. Dekeyzer has had a varied career within the added value seafood business, serving in senior management positions in Fjord Seafood, Executive Director for Operations in the Pieters Group, and as Technical Manager in Morubel NV.
